Leading up to the next Finder Quigley show, we are sitting down with each participating artist to share her work and her story. Hannah aka Haaanksi is up next in this multi-part series. Listen to this trippy story then get a ticket to the exhibition.
Haaanksi hails from Halifax, Nova Scotia and has come to Pittsburgh by way of Toronto. Currently studying at Carnegie Mellon University's Art MFA program she splits her time between Pittsburgh and Canada. (She clued me into Porter and their super duper cheap flights from PGH to YTZ.) In this interview she discusses her craft, producing hooked rugs that offer more than their traditional counterparts. Three of her pieces are included in the latest Finder Quigley exhibition happening on March 26th in the August Wilson Center.

Shout out to Amos Levy for letting us use some of his music in this audio recording! He's the best.
